Coco Lo - Bethany Beach

Absolutely delicious sushi in Bethany. The fish was fresh. I have the tuna and avocado salad, the northern bank and the scallop sashimi. All fresh, all perfectly proportional (sometimes sushi rolls are much too overwhelming and large). All right. Maybe my new fave sushi place. Also the ambience. Nice staff.

I had birthday dinner here last night! No bad meal. Best sushi and service from Wes! He made us pears martinis that were so delicious! We let Wes choose our selection of sushi and appetizers. Didn't disappoint at all. Thank you. Will highly recommend this beautiful restaurant for all!

Cocoa Lo is a hidden sushi stone in Bethany Beach. We really enjoyed the Bethany Roll and Kilauea Roll. The fried ice was also amazing. Wes our server was super enthusiastic and knowledge about the menu and he loves the food he serves. I recommend the food here.

The food was delicious! Had the tempura appetizer, which was perfectly cooked, not a bit greasy and the diving sauce was delicious. The Delaware roll was nicely prepared, fresh and delightful. The record was like art. That was my first time, but not my last. Very recommended.

This place is truly a hidden gem. We know sushi (we lived in Japan for a time) and this place will surprise you. It rivals many top sushi places we've enjoyed across the globe and it seems to be a secret right here. It feels like an upscale mom and pop place. The staff is friendly and the sushi chef is top notch. If you are in the area and love sushi this is the place. My wife even wants to come all the way back here from our place in DC just to experience this spot again.
