WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT Evergreen Restaurant IS, COMING FROM VEGAS SERVICE INDUSTRY FAMILY! Eat instead at The Pines Lakefront for AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE! I’ve been eating here since I was a kid and NEVER had back of the house service/timing so horrible. It took over an hour for my 3 yr and 6 yr old to get a chicken breast and grilled cheese (which they still managed to undercook as it was cold)! When we did get dinner, my husbands steak was badly over cooked and cold and my lobster ravioli was cold, yuck! They forgot our soup, at least two tables left for lack of food, and tried to overcharge on my receipt for the pricier option of appetizer when we ordered the smaller one. Never coming back and NEVER RECOMMENDING AGAIN.
Amazing view, food is delicious and beautifully presented.
Food was strictly okay, very overpriced and dated. Service was at a snails-pace, and the menu had blatant inaccuracies. Entrees are supposed to have soup du jour included, but we were expected to pay a $4 up-charge for that day’s selection. Essentially there really was no soup option included, despite this being specifically stated in the menu. I have no way idea why we didn’t get up and leave immediately after sitting down. Never again!
Horrible! My husband was served a bad lobster, smelled and tasted spoiled. My steak looked great but I couldn't get passed the cold (still frozen in the center) crab leg served on top. The twice baked potato was also cold. The price was also very high for quality. We walked out and ate at Old Country Inn and had a delicious steak and lobster dinner.
