Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWon't be going back ever!! Our waitress was terrible, and walked off before letting us complete our order. She also just didn't put part of our friend's order in, and didn't bother to tell them that they wouldn't be getting their appetizer or soup for their son, and when they got the bill the items were just scratched out! I had the Chicken Marsala, and the chicken was really fatty, and I could only really get a couple of bites in. The penne was a joke, and I had to add too much cheese to make it taste good enough to eat. The only thing good thing I'll say is that the pizza as alright, and my picky 3-year old devoured his alfredo dish. I also went on a busy Friday winter night, the service might be better on a weekday, but we'll never go back to find out! Luckilly the Village offers many more restaurants to try, because we love going to Big Bear, and I'll definitely be checking reviews before trying another place.
I have been around the world and I am not picky about many things but this was the worst service I have ever had... including in third world countries.
Paoli 's is in the heart of the Village in Big Bear. Both locals and regular visitors to the mountain resort area are familiar with the restaurant. Most agree that the food is worth the visit, which is why the restaurant is usually busy compared to neighboring businesses. The unfortunate aspect to the restaurant is that the place is significantly run down and not in a rustic way carpet needs replacement, the building is in disrepair, decor is seriously outdated and rundown and it always feels like cleanliness is a low priority. It is disappointing to watch the owner 's of Paoli 's continue to receive money from the cities locals and tourist but have no interest in offering a more quality atmosphere for its patrons or represent its city better. A leach sucks from its host and has no regard for the host’s well being in return. For all the obvious reasons, it should be common sense for Paoli’s to improve itself. Such businesses should be embarrassed and make appropriate changes. If not customers should complain and boycott if necessary.
The food was great, but the plastic table cloths have got to go. We had to use at least 5 baby wipes to clean the table cloth and no one came to ask if we wanted them cleaned for us.
I took my family there last weekend and sat on the patio. The tables are so dirty it took 8 baby wipes to try and clean it. We were also seated by the trash. The gate and arch is falling down. I don't know how this gets a passing grade. It is a shame. We love the food. With the price that is charged you think you could at least buy some new tables and table cloths. We have been coming to Paoli’s for 25 years. We come to big bear once a month, but I will no longer bring anyone or come until there is a large clean up.
