Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónEating seems to have increased enormously in quality last year. a previous comment mentions the use of frozen chips - definitiw not the case now, as they serve some of the best chips I have ever eaten. eating is now very good and the only handle is the cheap wine list (the excellent selection of taylor’s beer but more than makes for it!
I visited The White Horse for dinner and found it to have a good location with plenty of parking and a tastefully decorated interior. However, my experience was mixed. The service was decent, but some of the starters listed on the menu were not available. The table next to us received their order with an alternative second choice, while we did not. The main dishes were cost-effective, but the chicken masquerading as chicken kiev was dry and tasted like it had been microwaved. The lamb shank was also tasteless and the service was indifferent. I decided to skip dessert after the disappointing first two courses, and left feeling unsatisfied with my meal and wallet. Overall, I will not be returning to The White Horse.
Excellent eating. I visited the white horse when the new owners took over and was not overly impressed by the food, but I must say his now clear to see that the new owners have not only improved the look of the pubs, but the food has also improved massively. infact it is so good that I take all my employees one night to the white horse so that they can also eat the quality and enjoy personal.
I had a wonderful experience dining at the White Horse for the second time on 10/07/2010, after new owners had taken over. My first visit under the new ownership was not great, but after hearing they had a new chef, I decided to give it another chance. I was pleasantly surprised by the improvement in the quality of the food. I ordered the lamb which was cooked perfectly, and my companion enjoyed the sea bass. I suspect the negative review from the previous chef may have been biased.
New Head Chef puts his mark on the White Horse. We visited the White Horse at Wellheads a few weeks ago found the food to be average. However some friends suggested we give it another try as a new head chef had been appointed. We are so glad we did as on the 28 June 2010 we were very pleasantly suprised to find the food the service) excellent my husband had the sea bass on crispy vegetables said it was the best he had tasted in quite a while) Obviously the White Horse is back on the cullinary map we most certainly will be back thanks
