Small place, so the Craft Beer decisions are not many, but they are good. Lamplighter, Beer'd, Barreled Souls and more. A plus, some really good craftsmen are kept cold in the coolers. A minus, grumpy gus who work the register. I understand it, 3 days weekend is not a fun time to work, but when someone says hello, say hello back, basic.
We worked with Jon and the team for our wedding. You really got it. Great prices, special ordered some wines and helped a lot through the delivery. Thank you.
Excellent food, great service, good atmosphere. Ordered Grilled Tenderloin, grilled asparagus, and dessert. Could not ask for better food and service. Will be back next time.
We were excited to try this new Brewster restaurant over Labor Day weekend, but I have to be honest and say the food and service was very mediocre. The waitstaff did not introduce themselves, discuss specials or make recommendations. Instead we were just greeted with a what do you want for our drinks order. Our white wine bottle was left on the table and we had to ask for an ice bucket which, at a very expensive restaurant, is quite sub-par service. A bottle of oyster bay sauv blanc (normally $9.99 at a shop was $34. And they have a very very small, un-interesting wine list. The food was just ok. You order a main for $18-$30 and then have to add on another $8-12 for vegetable and starch sides. The sides were very small, just enough for 2 people, this concept did not suite our large party. The steak, chicken and sea bass was nicely seasoned and cooked (hence 2 stars and not just 1! the pasta with scallops was pretty poor, just a heap of linguine with a few scallops on top that hadn 't been cooked very nicely... overall this restaurant experience is not what we expected from one of Chatham 's top chefs . Very expensive (over $400 bill for a party of 6 and the food wasn 't worth it. Better to go to Brewster Fish House or Spinnaker just down the street... We won 't be coming back and, considering the place wasn 't even half full on Labor Day weekend, I don 't think we 're the only ones that felt this way.
