They will mess up your order every single time, and then argue with you when you ask for it to be
I don’t normally leave reviews (everyone can have bad days and food service workers have a lot to deal with, I hate to make things worse). However, I’m … concerned?I ordered a grilled chicken bowl and informed them it was because I’m allergic to the bread found in other bowls. I then watched the same employee making it wear the same disposable plastic gloves for multiple different orders (including bread). Never changed them, crumbs everywhere. I wouldn’t have said anything even then, but she then touched/used the cash register with the exact same gloves on before continuing to handle food. Just … touched everything. Gloves were useless. There’s acceptable risk of cross contamination and then there’s, well, direct contamination. If you have any food allergies and/or compromised immune system, I would try another Tim Horton’s nearby. Even if what you’re ordering doesn’t have your allergy in it, not changing gloves between tasks/orders means it’s accidental inclusion isn’t unlikely. I’ve sometimes gotten a bit sick when ordering here via Drive-Thru and brushed it off when I shouldn’t have.I’m sure this employee had her reasons, I’m not writing this as an accusation. I won’t name her. But I hope food safety will manage to improve over time. Best wishes.Dietary restrictions: Gluten/bread. Celiac disease.
