Sixteen Antlers Rooftop Bar - Brisbane

Would definitely not recommend this bar only because how rude and unwilling the staff are. It started that security came by and we were like teenagers who weren't in the bar. Then the waiters came by and slammed our food on the table without a smile or any sense that they wanted us there or even wanted to be there. No thank you, no review for us, no smile. Then they finally accused one of our group of not paying for a meal and continued to bring about 3 revenues to argue there, point when we had and had to show the bank payment on the bank app. Never be here again and it was very disappointing.

There are not many good rooftop bars that I could find in Brisbane. This is one I visited previously on a visit to Brisbane. This one is on the 16th floor of the Mercure Hotel King George Square. Views are towards Queen Street and Turbot Street. Drink prices are reasonable and there are nice comfy sofas to sit on. Staff are a bit standoffish and could be more engaging with customers. If one is looking for an excellent rooftop bar the newly opened and excellent Iris Rooftop Bar at Hotel X has great city and story bridge views.

We went for a friends birthday today after reserving earlier in the week. We waited for 5 minutes and then alerted a staff member before actually been showing to the booth we had reserved. After this we went to the bar to order drinks, we asked if we could get Jeagar as it was the birthday girls preference which they immediately said no to. This was fine but what I did not appreciate was the waitress Lucy commenting to her coworker that we had order this drink and then continued to speak about us as if we were not there. We hadn’t drank before this so were very dismayed at her attitude as we had simply just asked a question. She was rude and derogatory and we did not appreciate her attitude. 16 Antlers you would do a lot better if you chose not to employ staff as dismissive and rude as Lucy.

Great location, great views over the city! Only stopped for a drink, the staff was friendly and service was fast, although it was packed. The views were great and great atmosphere and setting

View and cocktail was ok, but food took age and sat there until completely cold. The waitress was not in a hurry and had no manners or care when she had delivered. They had to ask the manager for a refund while we went on, but that couldn't even do. Wait for manual refund over the financial sector. In no way recommended for food or service. Maybe managers are inexperienced.
