Curry House - Bristol

I had a delicious dinner here. the man (the owner? who took our order was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about vegan eating. would not hesitate to recommend.

Something worse, find a really good quality and friendly Indian restaurant before location. until we had an excerpt from this company. the quality of food including fresh vegetables and brot is really good. it is well cooked and not superfluous. I think the price is good for quality. the people on the phone and the shippers are very polite (and also humble). many thanks! estimated

We have been living for 12 years 10 minutes to foot from this restaurant, but we have never been there until today. we have already been aware of the quality of food, as we order food for delivery quite regularly, and it has always been excellent. we decided to have a family party tonight, and honestly, eating was even better fresh from the kitchen. we started with a cobra warehouse and a large stack of delicious poppadome, accompanied by the usual selection of dips, calcareous pepper and finely cubed wobble. we then had two portions of 3 to spit between 4 of us, their bhajis are really big, and I wish I had my own part with me. it quickly followed our main courses. now I'm not particularly adventurous when it comes to curry to be a bit of a wimp with wicy witness, so I had my usual takeaway option from a huhn tikka massala, and it was superb as usual. it came to the table beautifully presented on white porcellan, with the curry in a bowl, a beautiful hemisphere of pilaureis, and some artfully arranged pieces of peshwari naan brot. I can't remember what the others had, but I cost them all and everyone was delicious. often the curries can be somewhat too similar, but the selection of aromen, color and seasoning was great. my wife is vegetarian. she went with the wiper instead of meat, and the cheese was really beautifully textured, not too gumy or hard. we had a few drinks after our head, and unfortunately we were all too stuffed for one dessert, so we took our vacation. we were there about 75 minutes in everything that felt as if the perfect amount of time eating came out immediately, but we didn't feel rushed either. the restaurant was recently renovated and it has a modern feel. we were not crushed like vieh, and the ambiente was beautiful. the personal was friendly and attentive, without being disturbing. they really let us be welcome and were quick to respond to requests for fresh serviettes. all in all we had a wonderful evening, and we stand up because we don't have to go before now! I can sincerely see why this is one of the top 3 rated restaurants in bristol (which is a city that is quite heaving to eat with large places), and I also understand why it has been enforced for almost 40 years (it was founded in 1983 by the father of the current property, I believe). we will come back soon, with friends.

After a break of about 18 years I visited this place with my family again. nothing had changed the staff very friendly, the eating was still delicious the chairs were so comfortable! I will not leave it 18 years to my next visit!

Recommended by a friend today, so tried and no complaints. Wonderful flavours, perfect delivery, varied colours, cooked 100%... asked for chicken got tikka, which is the only negative but minor.. definitely ordering again
