This place is a hole in the wall, but aren't those always the best? The food here is fresh and delicious. The prices are very reasonable as well. My favorite two things to order are the lechon with a big piece of the crunchy skin on top with the fried plantains and moro rice, and the steak sandwich. The steak sandwich takes 15 minutes as the steak is cooked to order, so you know it is really fresh. They also have croquettes, empanadas, potato balls, guava/cheese pastries, etc. They also have breakfast sandwiches. Definitely a must try if you like Cuban food.
Amazing food friendly service! Local and yummy. Recommend the Cuban and coffee is hot and strong!
Great small little Latin Cafe. They offer delicious authentic Cuban coffee as well as salty and sweet pastries. Had the guayaba and cheese puffed pastry, really good. Also tried the meat patty and the croqueta. These weren't as good as expected, but not that bad. They offer lunch deals for close to 8 bucks. The food looks good and fresh, did not have a chance to try. Did order the Cuban sandwich, really good. If you're not that hungry I would recommend sharing it, as it is big. They also have fresh sugar cane juice among others.
I can't get in a full day of work without coming here for lunch. The food is so good I end up overeating and need a Cuban Coffee before returning to the office. Those of us who moved up here from Miami can appreciate homemade authentic Cuban food. Those who haven't have the oppourtunity to get it here. Don't expect a fancy setting. Seating is indoor/outdoor. Staff is friendly and hard working. I recommend Black Beans and rice with chicken boiled yuca. Ham Croquettes a Cuban Coffee. Cuban Sandwiches are excellent too. Don't go between 12:30 1 because I don't want a long line when get there.
