When I lived in NYC this was my go to place for brunch on the weekends or after an all nighter shift at the hospital. So, now that I’m no longer live there. Had to pop in for breakfast my first stop back. Chef (J) was on point and the food was amazing per usual. Server could have been a little bit more pleasant However, if you're ever in the area go and enjoy so fresh delicious food and a nice big latte.
Cozy, intimate, neighborhood French bistrot. Love seeing people comfortable enough to dine alone. Very good meal and lovely service. But you will leave smelling like all the stuff they cook there due to lack of ventilation. And the bathroom needs an overhaul/more attention.
The food is very good but expensive for a cafe like this. They raised their prices after the pandemic..... It used to be a place where you could stop by for a delicious snack. The food is always good but now they have restaurant prices. The pasta dishes are just as expensive as a high-end Italian restaurant with white tablecloths. A ham cheese crepe and a bowl of soup came to $35 with tax tip. They charge you 4% extra to use a credit card. They call it a convenience fee.
Lovely place!! Perfect for breakfast and great service. Should go if visiting ny.
