Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónShrimp cocktail outstanding. Wedge salad unbelievable. Great sides and strawberry shortcake. Cajun ribeye top notch. I got the prime rib not so great. Waiter told me it is usually a tough piece of meat and to get it cooked a little more than I might otherwise. I should have just listened to him and picked something else. So tough it was very hard to chew and not very enjoyable. But again, the waiter warned me. I accept fault for that one. But I would go again.
EVERYTHING we ordered was amazing. Like everything. From the food to the wine, the app's, all of it. The only issue is we were sitting right near where the waiters bring the food out so it was a little disruptive but even with that it was worth it.
This was my second time at Smith Wollensky. I had a better experience the first time. This time my steak was not cooked correctly. I asked for medium well they gave me medium rare and my steak was almost cold like it had been sitting waiting to get picked up for a while, my veggies was room temp or colder. I know they can do better because I have experienced it. Sighhhh I was disappointed and I'm not one to send food back. I never trust that.
I recently dined at Smith Wollensky Restaurant with my wife and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. The Steaks and Chops were cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. The ambiance of the restaurant was classy and elegant, with a touch of old school tradition that really added to the dining experience. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly making sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. It was clear that they take pride in providing excellent service to their guest. Overall, I would highly recommend Smith Wollensky Restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a casual yet upscale setting. Weather you're a steak lover or just looking for a great dining experience, this place has it all. I will definitely be returning in the near future. I always ask to sit in Tony's section because he makes you feel like your family eating dinner at his house....he's the best. Also I would like thank one of your managers, Conner ...he was very informative about the history of Smith Wollensky and gave us a quick tour of the restaurant. Thank You, Richard Haley
I have been here many times. Tonight I came to celebrate my son's graduation from FiT. My waiter was great but my food was not. I ordered the prime rib medium rare. The first time it came out it looked it was placed in a steamer tray while the other food was prepared. The second time it came out it was extremely undercooked as you could see the blood oozing from the meat. After the third attempt, the General Manager brought out the dish and agreed that they must be having an off night while stating that he gave up trying to fix the order as they couldn't seem to get the meal cooked properly. All the while, my baked potato was delivered. It's needless to say that this was also undercooked as you could tell is was warmed up in a microwave. I am no connoisseur but you can tell the difference between a baked and microwaved potato. To make up for the poorly cooked meal, both the GM and the server were very apologetic. They completely understood where I was coming from and ended up comping my meal. While my party ate their food the GM sent a round and of drinks for the table. He also mentioned that he would comp the desert which I was extremely appreciative of. All in all, I would have preferred a perfectly cooked steak and meal like I remembered from the past experiences, but I do have to give credit to the GM and server.
