Wakky's African - Broad Channel

I have never been here but you can tell this food is home made and from the heart. I had the miixed meat stew and pounded yam fufu and it was fantastic, highly recommend. Has this wonderful addictive spice that you just want to keep eating it. And all the meats are perfectly cooked.

I get the Egusi like twice a week with Pounded Yam fufu. The first time, the meat was a bit hard, but it gets better every time Ive gotten it after that. I think Im addicted to this dish. The fishermans soup is also amazing if you want something lighter.

Such a delicacy. The vegetable stew was very delicious, made me feel like a home away from home. To top it all, the chicken stew was a blast.

The goat was a bit tough and didnt get any good meaty pieces but it was flavorful and I did enjoy the sauce with the fufu. Just make sure to cook to a good consistency with good meaty pieces. Good portion sizes as well. Thank you.
