Joloff - Brooklyn

I ordered the Bissap, Thiou Kanja Ganar with Joloff Rice and Beignets at this restaurant. I found the rice to be lacking in spice and the beignets to be somewhat dry. However, the chicken and okra dish more than made up for it with its delicious flavors.

I really enjoyed the welcoming and serene atmosphere of this restaurant. It felt like home with its beautiful African designs. I will definitely be bringing someone here to try their Senegalese Jollof rice.

Real great Senegalese food! Popular with Senegalese and non-Senegalese alike. Lowkey amvience but clean and colourful. Thiebou Jenn is always a good bet. The Dibbi is really good too.

Definitely a must. The decor is exceptional, the food is very delicious and the staff very courteous. It has an authentic Senegalese feel.

I had a great experience at this charming Senegalese restaurant in BedStuy. I particularly enjoyed the delicious baked fish with okra and a generous portion of jollof rice. I visited for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful time. I believe the dish I ordered is called Thiou Kanja Jeun.
