The staff was great, very attentive and friendly. With the food I have mixed feelings. We ordered 2 empanadas, 1 beef and 1 chicken. They were both delicious. The drinks we ordered were also very good, a sangria and mojito I believe. Now this is where my mixed feelings come in. We ordered 2 different cuts of steak medium rare, the churrasco and the other Iforgot (and cannot find it on their online menu). What we received were 2 rare steaks and due to the dark setting we couldn't tell right away. Everything was great besides the rare steaks. I would go back to try other items on their menu and update my review if needed.
I really enjoyed this restaurant. The decor and dark settings give that place a very nice vibe. Stake was delicious and there are plenty of signature drinks for everyone. Will definitely be back for more.
Super cute place. Wonderfully decorated and not super packed in like some places. Great for a romantic night out. Service was top notch. Drinks and food came quickly, hot and fresh. Proveleta was delicious, salty, cheesy goodness. Skirt and ribeye were cooked just right, coulda used a bit more flavor on the ribeye but otherwise delicious. We skipped dessert, the choices were too limited anyhow.
This place is great. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. We ordered the ribeye steak that was on their specials, a clam chowder soup, the beef empanadas, the Branzino and desert. It was all pretty good with the exception of the ribeye. I like my meat medium rare or at most medium. I asked for medium rare and got it well done. I’m not the type of person to complain so just dealt with it. Other than that it’s a really good place. I’ll be going back. Oh and the El Gaucho drink is sooo good.
The reviews convinced me to give this restaurant a try on New Year's Day. I'm sorry to say, it was a bit hit miss. The place is cozy but could use a slight refresh. The food was all good quality, that much was apparent. We liked the churrasco and it was a generous piece for the price. The kale salad just tasted like cream and anchovy. It needed some lemon or acidity, some black pepper and a bit more flavor. The mushroom pasta was probably the highlight with nice fresh pasta's chewy texture and great truffle sauce. The octopus casserole was disappointing. You could not tell that the octopus was grilled at all. The whole dish just tasted mushy and too fishy if I'm honest. We left half, it wasn't a table favorite. The empanadas were very solid but, coming from Latin America, I mean Miami, I've had better. No bold flavors but good quality fillings nonetheless.
