I'm happy Shuck Shack exists and for as long as it does I'll probably go a few times a summer. The oysters are great. The lobster rolls are okay for Buffalo. They have a good drink list and it's a pleasant place to sit outdoors. I do think the seating arrangement is weirdly controlling. They seem to be obsessed with making people order before they sit. Last year they added a parameter around the place with a maze that forces you to order before you get through to the seating area. The year they opened I bought my very young children and got them seated before I walked up to the counter to order. While I was ordering I happened to see my kids wandering around looking for me. I ran over to them and they told me one of the guys working their told them they couldn't sit until the food was ordered. Can you imagine what kind of absolute monster would kick two little kids out of their seats without even making sure the parent was aware. I was in total disbelief and didn't go back all year.
One of my favorite places to go in the summer! An amazing vibe and a beautiful view. The seafood is the best and so fresh! They also have stuff for non seafood lovers too!
Rode our bikes here from the outer harbor. Got some clams and a lobster roll. Did not disappoint, the food was amazing. My husband got the burger and didn't like it but it's a seafood place, don't go there for the burger. Such a cool set up and great food. Loved it.
Pricey but worth it. Fresh oysters and peel and eat shrimp were a highlight.
