Most the crowd is townies, and it's got a lot of seating. Parking is tough to get, but there are street and lot options nearby. Of course, you can get there via the T pretty easily as well.We got seated quickly, and saw the menu having a mix of appetizers, drinks, salads, pastas, and pizzas. The duck appetizers are usually a big hit, and run out quickly. The arancini balls are ok ours seemed a bit undercooked. The pizzas are good for 2 3 people, depending on your appetite. They come in a variety of flavors, and there are options to create your own with a host of toppings. Dessert dishes, particularly the key lime pie, were very good and quick to come after ordering.Prices are indicative of Harvard and the area that you're in, so be mindful. That said, it's well backed by speedy and thoughtful service. Overall, love coming back to source and hope to come by again soon!
The food was delicious. The scallop crudo was fresh and well balanced. The kale pizza was unique and tasty thought it could have had a bit more of the toppings on it. The salad was fine but not as good or unique as the other things I had. The people who worked there were lovely and kind. Made me feel like I was at their home instead of a restaurant. Also, love the half glass of wine option especially befor the theatre.
Highly recommend the Brussels Sprouts to share. Great atmosphere! Reservation usually needed.
This is my top pizza spot in Boston Tuscan kale is the best combination of flavors and the crust is so doughy and crispy at the same time. I love this place, vibes are good, consistent and reliable, every time we come here we are not disappointed. Dessert pizza is straight fire ?
We both left saying, We will come back here. So generally, the overall combination of food, ambience, service and price works. The salads here are very good. I had pizza on a previous visit, which was both interesting and excellent. On this trip, we had salads and pasta fra diavolo with mussels and a pasta with fennel sausage. We asked for gluten free pasta. The sauces for both pasta dishes were excellent. The pasta was somewhat overcooked with the fra diavolo sauce and seriously overcooked with the fennel sausage sauce. With gluten free pasta, one needs to take the pasta out sooner. The service was generally friendly, but not very good. We had a hard time getting a server 's attention to ask a question about the gluten free dishes and then asked two or three servers until one was ready to take our order. I ordered a Jacks Abbey lager and they brought out a Midnight Moonlite ? beer instead. The waiter who took our ordered brought out a metal stand for pizza, even though we had not ordered pizza. It was not hard to find someone to get the check and pay. The service did not put a damper on our experience, but there is significant room for improvement.
