Viale - Cambridge

This is not to be missed. Delicious food; friendly, attentive service; if you go before oysters are a deal! Loved it!

The bread stick served after we were seated was disappointing, bland, and dry. The meatball appetizer was delicious and the Potato Gnocchi was perfectly cooked with a flavorful sauce that was not at all too salty as some reviewers mentioned. My boyfriend ordered the sausage flatbread, which was decent but nothing spectacular. The service was very quick and the restaurant was full but still quiet enough to have no trouble holding a conversation. Overall this was a good, fairly priced date spot that we will be coming back to! Hopefully they change up their bread.

Viale is always a good bet as a premier place to dine. Excellent food, great staff. I go there frequently.

What a pleasant place to be. The ambience is fun and feels safe partitions between tables. The wait staff is friendly and efficient and alert they anticipated our need. The food is good, but: we had the dollar oysters (terrific value), but some tasted stale others were fresh and briny. All in all the food was good value and delicious, but not spectacular. Still, I would recommend Viale and we will be back.
