Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis really is a busy pub if you wish to dine. Especially popular with the locals. There is so much history here and being listed as a Grade 2 building. You need to make bookings to avoid being turned away from their doors. Food is good and service reasonable. Food 8/10, ambience 8.5/10, service 8/10, value for money 8/10. Quite a hidden gem!
This is a picture-postcard pub, slightly out of the town centre. A pretty small interior, partitioned into different areas, creates a very cosy environment. Although it should probably be classified as a gastropub, it caters for casual drinkers and regulars, which is a real positive. Also you can get quality small food (albeit at Hampstead prices!!! at the bar, which I also love. Drink prices are high, even by Hampstead standards, which would make me rate it 4.5 stars, if that was an option. Lovely, professional staff, and the care for regulars, however, makes it deserving of 5 stars in my opinion.
The service at this restaurant is awful, the staff are incompetent when it comes to pouring a beer.
Lovely pub with great food. Booked for a big group for New Year's Eve and we got a whole room.
I visited this restaurant based on a friend's recommendation. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the Halibut and chips made for a delicious lunch.
