Cote Buffet - Carcassonne

Infrequently but regularly go here for a basic reasonably priced lunch. From experience, the main courses are not always to my liking so my wife and I usually take the 2 course buffet which has a reasonable choice of meat, fish and salad etc. and with as extra the cheap but good house wine.The buffet for 2 with wine ends up under 25 euros and the lunchtime staff are always friendly and efficient.The restaurant is popular at lunch with local workers and particularly on Sundays with families too.Seafood buffet on Friday evenings.

Choice from a varied menu including a good open buffet.The prices are reasonable and the food is quite acceptable though more typical of a fast food restaurant.Wine and coffee etc of course are available.Popular with local people including families, tradesmen and business travellers..Having been several times, the service is always normally very quick.As a largish open space restaurant, occasionally it can get quite noisy though have never found this to be a problem.

I won't waste words.... 24 hours after eating here, I was very, very ill. Thank goodness I managed to complete my flight before it struck!
