Village Pub - Carlsbad

Super homey, quirky, great setup. I had come to Carlsbad for about a year before I actually walked in Village Pub and boy was the wasted time! One of the best places in Carlsbad, hands down.

Only a small beaker that is a long time staple in Carlsbad. Beers relatively cheap for the area with a friendly atmosphere. Bonus $2 beers every time train passes.

This bar is the diviete diver bar at all, which is exactly what they are going for! As some others have mentioned, it is TINY. At some point only a long, narrow bar where I take 12 15 people. That's it! It's dark, had a good, interesting mix of music playing, and there was a TV turned into a baseball game. We immediately received a greeting and had beers in the hand fast, along with a bowl of fresh popcorn from the cinema-style machine. Why don't companies do that?! Genius! Seems like the bar is loved by a good balance of both locals and curious tourists who want to see how small it is. We often come to the area and will definitely be back!

Local pub where many customers know each other. People are very friendly. cold beer is always ready!! Alexa Angela are brilliant bearders (so are the guys)!! We love seeing the regular bands on Friday nights.

Great dive bar. Bar tenders are friendly and you can tell they like their jobs. Can meet a lot of locals here. Only downside is that there are a severe lack of seats. I've been there with the entire back wall have people leaning against it.
