Le Vert Hotel Restaurant

We had a fab night here, the food was amazing, full of taste and color. Service was also great, super friendly smiling people. Definitely recommend

Had a reservation, although clearly not needed. A few picnic tables outside, handful of tables by pool table, and then a large tour group occupying balance of space. Food was decent, and service was good, but really not work the walk from town

I can't tell you how friendly, helpful and kind the staff are at the restaurant. When I visited after normal dinner hours they helpfully arranged to cook a meal for takeaway (as my partner want feeling well). This was no fuss for them and they...were so nice about it. Considering how there isn't much around open at the time I can't tell you how grateful we were. Atmosphere inside was a nice cosy vibe with people playing pool and chatting. Food was nicer than a place nearby that had great reviews that we ate at the night before.

We stayed at the hotel and booked a more spacious room for two with view on the mountains. View was absolutely great. Little balcony as well. It’s a wooden, older hotel. Okay for us but good to know: Floor cracks sometimes, only (average) WiFi in...shared areas like hallways, no charging next to your bed, sometimes you hear other people in other rooms, you the door opens for 80% and then it gets stuck. I think it’s only with room 13 (when you look at the doors of the rooms). Ambiance is nice. Hotel gets runner by a selfservice formula. Self check in out and selfservice breakfast (which you can have anytime you want, it’s great. Breakfast itself is basic but fine). Staff speaks good English and very friendly. 20 minute walk distance from the city center. Bus stop in front of the hotel. Overall it’s a nice, basic hotel. The only reason why I wouldn’t go back is because I didn’t like the beds. In the morning my back hurt the first 20min after I got up.

The restaurant is connected to a low budget hotel (like a hostel), so it is very casual, but the food is amazing. All Asian influenced small plates we ordered were wonderfully prepared. It's a very funny restaurant!
