Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI stayed at the hotel for 5 days and had a fantastic experience. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the only downside was the unreliable Wi-Fi connection. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. Overall, I would rate the rooms a 5 out of 5.
Let me start with the positives. The staff at the front desk was delightful. However, this hotel stay was one of the worst I've had in a long time. I travel for work and stay in hotels once a month, and this experience was extremely disappointing. When I entered the hotel, the smell of smoke was overwhelming. The room I stayed in was very outdated and in desperate need of repairs. I ended up sleeping on top of the covers and washing up in the sink because I was too afraid to use the shower. I would have cancelled my stay if I hadn't booked through Priceline. The pictures of the room online were deceiving, as they were taken after housekeeping had cleaned up. The bathroom was so small that the door touched the toilet. Although I didn't see any bugs, I wouldn't have been surprised if there were bedbugs or roaches. The location of the hotel is good, but it is clear that the owners need to invest in upgrades and show more care for the property. Overall, I would suggest paying more for a better room to ensure a more pleasant stay.
We reserved a 2-night stay for my granddaughter's graduation. Unfortunately, the WiFi was poor, there was a roach in the vending machine, and the toilet wouldn't flush. We contacted the front desk about these issues. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel, as it was our last choice. I will provide an updated review after our second day. It is important to note that most customers expect good WiFi service, and it should be provided if the hotel wants to meet modern technological standards.
Never again! Had to travel unexpectedly for a funeral. Wingate chose to cancel our reservation at 10 pm the night we were coming in by email. No phone call or text. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't randomly checked my email about 15 minutes before we were to arrive at midnight. They claimed they had called no record of calls with the phone company. Claimed it was my credit card checked with the card, no attempt to charge the reservation, and no issues with the card. No apologies, acted as if it was my fault. Offered me a room at $100 more a night than we had booked. Absolutely appalling and made a hard, sad trip much worse. If you absolutely must, I guess call every half hour before you arrive to find out if they gave away the room you reserved.
Should have known better when we pulled up and saw cop cars at the hotel right next to this one. Went inside to check in and was informed that they do not accept Chime account debit cards. This was not noted when I reserved the room. The gentleman behind the counter acted like I was dumb for not knowing this. I told them no thank you and left. I never got to see the rooms but I'm kind of glad because the whole experience seemed shady to me
