Old Street Diner - Chouteau

It was average. Customer service was good, but the food was expensive compared to my expectations. The Burgerpatty was kind of dry with a flat taste. Not the burger I'm going back. Overall, it is not a bad place to stop and eat. It was clean, service was friendly and the portion sizes were sufficient.

Your food was great, and the service was good. Her steak was boiled properly, and her chicken fried steak was delicious.

The food here was excellent. I have chickens and waffles. Really fresh and delicious. Hubby had the chicken steak. He loved everything about it, including cookies and Gravy. I pulled off a star because of the lack of cleanliness. The table was sticky. I asked to wipe it off, and the waitress told me it was sticky out of a movie that was on him and he didn't know. But it was dirty and had syrup on it. I think the wipe of the syrup would have been nice.

The food was great. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We will return. Good food at a reasonable price.

I’ve been here 2 or 3 times and the food is always hot and delicious. They seem to be understaffed as the waitresses are stretched thin and not quite as attentive as I would like.
