Soho - Christchurch

My girlfriend went here with friends and was kicked out and humiliated by door staff yet again due to a prior justifiable understandable complaint made on here from 8 months before, with no apology from the bar or door staff.

The service was fab this evening for our party of 10, friendly attentive. Unfortunately we found the food to be quite mediocre, we had garlic bread starter which we found quite dry and we had a Julio pizza which again was dry and bland, I’d not eaten at Soho for years and had heard good things but have to say I was a little disappointed. We had mixed reviews on our table for the food. Personally I wasn’t overly impressed. It has a nice atmosphere and again the staff were wonderful.

We had a private party of 48 people for a 3 course Christmas dinner with a Mediterranean twist. The food was excellent and the service was brilliant. Very friendly staff. I recommend this restaurant.

Well…what an experience that was! Service was good and couldn’t fault. The food on the other hand was disgusting and I think the “pizza chef” needs to give up his day job. Dough needs fermentation and love, this dough was rushed, likely made today and why all the semolina? It really was inedible and I resorted to a pack of quavers instead.

We went here for our Grandson’s 21 st birthday party with family, it was brilliant, the food was excellent and plentiful the staff were kind and courteous and extremely helpful. The food was well cooked and fresh, we could actually watch them in the kitchen. Would recommend this venue. As Grandparents we didn’t stay for the nightclub, but the youngsters did and apparently it was good.
