Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI had a not so great experience at Pinto Thai recently. I went with a friend as a special treat, since we usually go to a restaurant in Dorking but didn't feel like driving there. Unfortunately, Pinto was a big letdown. The restaurant had a very modern design and didn't even play traditional Eastern music, which made it feel artificial. The main issue was that they got our order wrong. We ordered a satay duck and a satay lamb, but only the duck arrived. After eating a third of it, we informed them of the mistake and they apologized and brought the lamb dish 15 minutes later. By then, we had already finished our meals, so they opened the lamb dish anyway...
Beautiful Pinto Thai Cuisine in Acton is a favorite spot of mine. The atmosphere is always friendly, with smiling waitresses and Thai music playing in the background. On my visit last week, I noticed that duck satay and lamb satay were not on the menu, which I found surprising. Despite this, I always enjoy the authentic Thai flavors at Pinto. The staff are helpful and willing to assist with any questions about the menu. I particularly enjoyed the hot pot and Thai iced tea. Overall, Pinto Thai Cuisine in Acton is a charming local restaurant that offers a true taste of Thailand.
Pinto is a beautiful, cozy and friendly thai with some fantastic traditional dresses under their menu. Always happy and good portions not too big or small, plus the byo is always a perk for a middle week outing.
When I'm feeling especially tired or lazy to cook, I rely on a local restaurant. Although I haven't had the time to venture further to eat, we are fortunate to have a few great dining options nearby.
Small portions. I ordered a green curry and simple rice. it tastes great, though a bit too sharp. the only problem I had was that for the money the curry size was very small. it was half the contents of the container and had very little meat in it.
