Nana's Pit Bbq Seafood - Clinton

We heard really good things about this restaurant and it wasn't disappointed. We ordered the cattle breeze, pork ribs, Hush puppies and Coleslaw. Everything was delicious! We had to drive 45 minutes per way to the restaurant and it was worth it! I think it's one of the best BBQ facilities in the DMV. If you have a Hankering for Grill, this is the place for you!

Today, my first time here I ordered the Catfush, Shrimp and Grits. It was excellent, I tasted the potato salad and had to order it, I also ordered the baked beans first asked if they were vegetarian no pig, he said they were, but I am not convinced after I had tasted it. You must look like pig beans. I pray they didn't.

Khari is the best!!! He makes his customers feel like family!! And he cooks the BEST Blackened Salmon EVER!!!! Chicken is brilliant, Ribs are great, but this salmon OMG??

Mac and cheese NO FLAVOR. Yams not sweet at NO FLAVOR. Rice DRY. Crab cake had hard pieces of something in the bowl. Green salty. Don't waste your money!!

Asked for the pulled beef brisket today (which I have had here several times since the new ownership took over in July, and which is my favourite thing on the menu), but was served sliced brisket instead. When I asked about it I was told they were not going to serve the pulled beef any more. The brisket that I got was tasty enough, but was the chewiest brisket I have ever had. The cabbage and black beans were both pretty good. I'm much less likely to go back if the pulled beef is really gone...
