Very unique restaurant, great atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend.
Have been to a number of Hibachi joints and this one still has the best food. I enjoy the decor not really having changed over the years as I’ve been coming here for years. Shrimp is awesome. Fried rice is great. Salad dressing, soup and yum yum sauce are all top notch. Meat is always fresh.
I hadn't eaten at Fujiyama in 20 years. And time has been hard on Fujiyama. It smells and the food was subpar. Not that I expect Asians working in a Japanese steakhouse, but the waiter was white, the chef was Hispanic. Chef was fine, food was not a good as Kyoto on Sawmill. On the upside, the Kirin Beer was cold, Will not be coming back until they get new carpeting since the heavy smell of cooking oil, onions and garlic permeates the air. Sort of like Tokyo on a thermal inversion day.
