Streetcar 520 is an absolute vibe! The food is spectacular with options for everyone. The Gouda Mac n cheese to the ahi tuna to the bao buns. Can’t miss! The staff is on top of their game and provide exceptional service. 10 out of 10 recommend!
Great place, great food, great atmosphere, and the best bartender in the world! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a meal or a drink or both!
I recently had both a happy hour and brunch at Streetcar520, and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the staff's warm greetings made me feel right at home. Ari, the owner, is just a kind soul. The ambiance is both funny and cozy, (look around the room for clever Easter eggs) and the service felt personalized for my friends and me. I personally enjoy the mixed drinks and banter, as bartender Winn is just a good guy in general, but as for the food, my friends always order and love the curry fries every time we go. I highly recommend this Tejon spot for anyone looking for a great meal served in a welcoming space with kindness and care.
I booked a reservation for 2 at Streetcar520 at 5:30pm on a Saturday night. The hostess led us to a high top table that was extremely crowded next to the other parties that you can hear everyone's individual conversations. From the moment we were seated, our waitress did not come to our table to greet us for 15 minutes to provide water and/or take drink orders. It took 20 minutes to get our cocktails once she finally came; we also ordered an appetizer and a salad at approximately 6pm. We waited 45 minutes before noticing several tables next to us (who were seated after us and were taken care of by a different waitress section) had already received their food and had already paid and left the restaurant. At this point, we felt forgotten about and that our waitress may have forgotten to place our order. We kept trying to flag our waitress and other waitresses down, but they very clearly avoided trying to help us. After finally getting attention to our table at 7pm, the waitress kept blaming the kitchen being busy and offered to comp our drinks (which was appreciated) and that our food was coming out soon. Another fifteen minutes go by (7:15) without receiving our food, we flagged the hostess and cancelled our order and left the restaurant. We will not be returning.
