Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI've been to backwoods many times because I love the ambience but the food is just meh. On New Year's Eve though it was very good. Service was top notch. Blood orange margaritas are delicious!
We live locally and have gone several times. The food is always excellent and so is the service. We went for the first time with our two year old and the experience was great. The only thing I've noticed every time we go is that the music is very loud.
The food at this restaurant was very good, but unfortunately the bad service overshadowed it. I went with three girlfriends around 8:30pm, thinking they closed at 10pm based on their Google listing. However, we were not the only ones there at that time. We all ordered drinks and small plates, but the hostess, who also served us, seemed hesitant to seat us and rushed us through our orders. Despite the food being delicious, the server kept pushing us to box up our meals and split the bill, interrupting our meal multiple times. Overall, the service made us feel unwelcome, despite the tasty food. As someone who has worked in the industry, I understand the importance of accommodating customers even close to closing time. If the restaurant truly closes before 10pm, they should update their Google listing to reflect that. Unfortunately, I will not be returning due to the poor service experience.
First time here. Lived in Dallas for years and didn't know it was here. Very nice place. Fried chicken was awesome. Very friendly service. Nice spin on “stick to your ribs” food. Will be back. Thanks!!
We generally like the place. The music was great and our server was very nice. . . BUT...the food was "meh, ' and totally overpriced! $23.00 for a pot roast served in a teeny, tiny skillet!!! Even the pricier restaurants give you a better portion for the money than that! Chicken bites were good. We each had a glass of wine...$9.00 a glass and the small size wine glass was not even half-way filled. That was a rip-off. I don 't mind paying for a glass of wine but it wasn 't an expensive wine, so $9.00 a glass was overpriced to begin with and jipping you on the amount poured.. well let 's just say we didn 't sit and have another, so when places pull that, it makes us spend less money. Will choose to go elsewhere next time. Would only go back to hear a favorite band and won 't order much.
