I’ve been on a HUNT to find homemade sourdough goods with minimal ingredients, and I am HOOKED on D’s sourdough!! I picked up a few bags of sourdough English muffins (which you can’t even find in a grocery store), and I was blown away by the taste, size, quality, everything! They’re so thick and puffy I toasted mine with a little ghee cinnamon honey, and it was the most heavenly little treat! I also picked up a loaf of sourdough sandwich bread, which was equally delicious I’ll now be a forever customer!
Love their salted rosemary sourdough and the garlic herb! They can sell out of it though so make sure to go earlier or remember to pre-order (which I can never seem to) on their website. They also do fun things like bakba!
I am very into anything cranberry, and I saw that they had a cranberry walnut sourdough, so I reached out and let them know that I could not have nuts. They were so nice and told me that I could do just a cranberry sourdough or I can add some thing to it like orange. I picked up my order today and it’s probably the best sourdough I have ever had, there was so much taste, flavor, I am so excited about this company in the fall it’s going to be great.
I absolutely love love love farmers markets. It was a tradition growing up in Minnesota that going to the farmers market was a day-long affair where we could get fresh produce and support local farmers and crafters. What I love most about the Dallas Farmers market is the market is open every day of the week with lots of great eats, restaurants, and little shops in addition to the shed. Husband and I take a visit to the shed almost every other weekend to replenish on local honey, amazing ginger beer, and taste some amazing local yummies! We always bring out of town guests here and one of my favorite DFW hot spots :
