"we were in the hotel and did not expect to get vegan decisions there. they have three restaurant and two of them had vegan options in the menu (now the beach has more possibilities through.) eating on the snow beach was very good and not desperate vegan designed."

"This is a great little restaurant in the tiny village of Monstein. The only other one is in the lovely Ducan hotel. It's top class and casually elegant. We spent a week in the Ducan hotel just down the street. They have a swap arrangement...for evening meals with the Veltliner, a great idea, especially as the hotel restaurant is closed on Wednesdays. The place is traditional, immaculate, welcoming and has a great menu of local fare, beautifully cooked. Prices are reasonable given the eye-watering prices you can see in Davos restaurants nearby. The owner and staff could not be more welcoming or helpful, but it is clear that while friendly and attentive, they take their tasks very seriously indeed. You can eat on a lovely terrace at the side of the restaurant or inside. It was such a warm evening, we decided to eat inside, having done a mile hike in degrees. We were the only diners inside for most of the evening but the staff were equally attentive to us. It's really worth the twenty minute trip form Davos or the three minute walk from the Ducan to try it out. The village itself is just so beautiful, topped off of course with its own brewery. You just can't lose, eh?"
