Talk Of The Town Soul Food - Decatur

Where to start… seems like most items had been burned, as if they set it and forgot it! Let’s start with what was edible… the neckbones were tender and tasty, the macaroni was decent and had cheese, the turkey wing was tender and seasoned even though I only received 1. The collard greens had been in a pot where they had obviously via the taste been burned, as well as the black brick she called a corn muffin. The staff was extremely friendly and wished me a Blesssd weekend after taking my money for this non edible food!

I imagine this is what prison food must be like. They definitely have a sense of humor. I’m not sure who thought of this joke but it’s hilarious. As much as I love jokes I was actually hungry and I think you forgot to put my food in the bag. This is prison slop the dog isn’t even by my leg right now because he’s not interested. Supposed to be rice and stewed chicken with plantains. I got no plantains.

man the fish and greens were so salty they were inedible, the macaroni had no flavor only one meal came with cornbread which is ok because the generic bun they put in the other box tasted better than anything in either box. the banana pudding is definitely spoiled it tastes like spoiled milk thank god i got it fr ubereats i got my refund immediately. aint no soul in this food and anyone claiming this restaurant should be ashamed of themselves. yall better be non black calling this soul food. get your recipes up hire a chef or something because this is embarrassing

Had the nerve to charge my card twice $21.27 oh no !!! The pork chop was good ? but that Mac and cheese I was disappointed . Asked questions about the dinners and everyone was clueless I guessing everything is sold separately! I definitely didn’t understand but run them $21.27 back ?double charges Service: 2/5

My husband and I were first timers today and we were very pleased with the food and the service. Everyone was so pleasant. We will definitely go back.Food: 5/5
