Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónDelicious Saturday brunch, generous portions. I had the Shakshuka , which had a nice chilli kick to it. The Feta (coconut based) tasted just like the sheep/goat based stuff, and the Tempeh had a nice bite, to replace the egg. My partner had the Sweet French Toast: Sourdough Pan Fried in Sweet Cinnamon Batter, topped with Poached Rhubarbfrench toast had , Vanilla Ice Cream Biscuit Crumb . He said: Ice cream? Is it really 'brunch '? Who cares when it tastes this good! The sourdough was deliciously crisp/chewy on the outside and fluffy and soft in the middle; it had a wonderful hint of banana bread the waitress informed us that this was because they use banana in the batter, instead of egg. Luckily, we managed to leave room for our ice cream. Go on, treat yourself!
Great place, friendly staff, excellent service and yummy food. A bit out of the way, but we'll worth the visit. Definitely coming back for more!
Best vegan cafe anyway! the staff are so friendly, beautiful and welcoming. the caffe has a brilliant contemporary feeling with soothing colors, lighting, subtler music and strong espresso to complicate stunning decadence triamphs like turmeric latte. spacious, clean, fresh and cozy room. the green breakfast is so tasty, lots of colors and taste on their dish. the zimtröte can be described as heaven on a plate compliments at the incredible chef. it will enjoy our regular caffe, as we visit each time thoroughly. Thank you.
Wonderful choice of food and drinks. Lovely staff. Busy lunchtime but nothing felt rushed. Can't wait to go again.
Breakfast We visited for an All day breakfast today and were completely blown away by the flavour and quality of the food. Each of the ingredients were delightful and complemented each other perfectly. I would highly recommend anyone switching to a plant based diet to visit Little Green Newcastle. The service is really friendly and it’s somewhere I will definitely visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Really impressed with the decor and atmosphere too and can’t wait to come back! Lunch After having such a good breakfast we had to come back for lunch a week later. We tried the FAVA bean hummus which was made in house. The texture and flavours were fantastic. The FAB bakery bread was also crispy and perfect for dipping. Probably the best Hummus we have ever had! The portion size was also great. The burger was also made in house including the buns. We loved the glaze and the umami flavours of the patty. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a chunky burger to try this. The miso buttered potatoes were divine and loved dipping these in the the aioli. Overall the Service was just as fantastic as our first visit and atmosphere very relaxed and will definitely be visiting on a regular basis now.
