Hummel Backerei & Cafe - Donauwörth

This place is ideal for breakfast, brunch, lunch, afternoon tea .... anytime.Very friendly service. Fresh cakes and tortes available all the time just ask.Nice selection of breakfasts. Good lunch menu. I have never been diasappointed here, so would deinitely recommend a visit... or two.

On the way back to the train station after looking around Donauworth we were ready to stop for a refreshment. Not far from the station is this café we thought looked pleasant and it proved to be. Just on entering there is a display of delicious looking cakes from which to choose. Our choices were a light cake piled high with raspberries and that special German "Obst Torte" always delectable. The café was simple and homey with one woman doing the service. Just right for an afternoon tea break. .
