I highly recommend this restaurant for their fantastic fish and chips and delicious cheeseburgers, some of the best in Ireland.

Highly recommend this restaurant in Portnoo ! As a group of 8 adults we made last min reservation on a Thurs evening in Michaelangelos, the food exceeded all expectations! Most ordered the chicken/ beef curry 1 x hake dish. Fresh veg, beautiful flavours, everything served hot. And a good pint of Guinness young staff on shift also very polite and efficient ! Thank you

I am local family came home rang at 4.30 pm to be told they are closing due to staff night that ok but next rang to book lunch 4 my family at 2.30 only to be told and i swear and quote we are not doing food as there is a lot of sore heads here two times bitten never will ring again as a local im disgusted

The food at MichaelAngelo’s has always been excellent and continues to be so. However, the menu has remained small and lacks variety. The lack of staple items like a burger or more than one vegetarian option is disappointing. The desserts, while nice, are mostly chocolate-based with limited options. The food is tasty, but the menu could use some improvement. Quality over quantity is important, but in this case, it may be taken too far.

Amazing food and service with the place absolutely packed last night. We had no reservation and thankfully we were seated within minutes . We shared the calamari to start massive portion) served with the chilli jam, top drawer! Followed by two med rare steaks which were cooked to perfection on the char grill, so flavoursome. Complimented well with the house red €23. Creamy pint if Guinness to finish
