Shanti Indisches Restaurant - Dresden

We came here as we fancied an Indian meal. The restaurant looked nice, with inside seating and a dimly lit courtyard area, which had nice ambiance. The menu had all of the usual dishes that you would expect. Unfortunately I got what I ordered but...not the heat that I had asked for. The food was OK but not exceptional and something that you would normally find in a mid range indian anywhere.

Really! We had one of the best Indian food in this small and cute restaurant just down the road of our hotel. Lovely staff, good price, not great ; but food was excelent!

The menu has the usual Indian menu items and the food was decent but not spectacular. The meals were freshly cooked so service was very slow even though we were the only 5 people in the restaurant. There is an outdoor seating area behind the...restaurant which is shared with the Vegan restaurant next door, so be careful which tables you sit at or you might not get the menu that you expect !

I visited this restaurant at least 15 times during my office lunch hours. I love the spicy curries and the friendly chef who is always helpful to customize my dishes.
