The Golden Ball - Dublin

Staff very poor. Management an absolute disgrace. Treated very poorly, never experienced anything like it in my life. Long story but an occasion completely ruined due to management. I can clearly see there is an issue with management and staff from reviews I have read here and TripAdvisor however nothing seems to be done about it. Lovely pub but if owners continue to allow this management can't imagine where it will go. Won't step foot back inside the place and will advise others aswell.

This place used to be my local nearest pub which was convenient and it meant we didnt have to get a taxi . After weeks and weeks of horrible service i feel compelled to write a review to warn other people about the customer service in this place . I dont even know were to start 1) staff are rude 2)Ip p've waited ages for my food to come on numerous occasions and on some occasions it actually just never came 3)I've been charged for food i never even had and the staff member had an attitude with me untill she realised i actually didnt have that extra meal 4)I asked for the bill six times before on one occassion before anybody came over to me 5)They have gotten our order wrong on the majority of occasions that we have been there My advice is to stay clear of this place the food is okay if it comes out hot but the service is appaulling and i highly doubt it will be getting any better anytime soon

This is never a pub I would visit for food in the past (when it was Palmers)however since it has been done up I find it a great spot to grab some food and drinks with friends. Its really bright and always has a great buzz about it. Really good pub grub that I would highly recommend. A great spot to go for Sunday lunch with the Family.

The Golden Ball in Kilternan, called in as we were passing for lunch worst meal we 've ever had!!! Service? Slow indifferent, my meal drowned in gravy (which I don 't like no apple sauce with the pork , AND it was MICROWAVED, boiling in the middle cool at the edges I suspect the potato was Smash or something similar ugh!!!! The other half had a Thai red curry , tomato coconut soup they forgot to put in the coconut !! We both had yuccky coffee were relieved of €36 for all this off the 'special menu ' (Specially bad!!!! We will never go back !!

We were only up for a few some) pints. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. We didn't eat, but would recommend The GB as a great place to go.
