Moores Fish And Chip Shop

I have ordered from Moores a few times, but this will be my last. The chips were cold and the batter on the fish was undercooked and terrible. It seems like they never add salt and vinegar, even though it's an option. The chips didn't have any salt and vinegar, as usual. The delivery driver drove into the driveway and over our lawn, leaving tire marks. I ordered a bottle of salt and vinegar sauce, but it was forgotten in the order. When I called, they said it could be sent with the next delivery, which was not acceptable. The driver couldn't find the place, even though I added a pin point to the map. When I asked for a refund on the sauce, I was told a quid has been added to my account for the next order. I wanted a refund for not receiving the goods, not a credit to my account. Sometimes, when ordering online for collection, they don't have the food ready and there's a long wait. The chips are below average, with hardly any in a portion, tasteless and lacking salt and vinegar flavor. Overall, I do not recommend Moores. I only use them because there are limited options in the area for decent takeaway.

This eatery is a traditional fish and chip shop. I must admit, it can be hit or miss at times. However, when the food is good, it's excellent. The introduction of delivery service has been a game changer for the town. Unfortunately, my rating has to be lowered due to issues with ordering for pick-up at the restaurant. Orders are never ready on time, and smaller items like chips are often delayed while larger orders are prepared first, even when there are chips already cooked. Additionally, I'm unsure if the chips are still freshly made, as I have seen them come out in pre-packaged bags. Despite these drawbacks, I would still recommend this fish and chip shop as it is superior to others in the area.

This restaurant serves the best fish and chips we have ever tasted! The batter is crispy, the fish is gorgeous, and everything is cooked to order. It is utterly delicious!

Although this is a chippy at heart there is a good variety on offer. I went for a sweet chilli chicken wrap today £3.30) which was delicious. Fish chips, pizza's, burgers, kebabs, ice cream sweets were all available and I'll be back to try other offerings.

Not bad but expensive, it all depends on the night sometime is terrible other times is really gid...........................................................................................................................
