Pita Stop - Dyer

I had the Mediterranean pita meal, which consisted of chicken, cabbage and a few other things in a pita wrap. It also comes with a handful of fries and a can of whatever Pepsi product you like. Total cost was just over $14.The food was hot, fresh and quite good, though the fries had a bit more seasoning than I like. For what I got, amd considering this is a small business, I felt the price was fair.As someone else noted, it is a bit of a weird entrance of you come in from the back entrance. You have to walk down a hall to get to the door, which was rather strange, but certainly doesn't take away from the business. There is a door at the front of the building as well, which I dont imagine gets used much l, as the parking is all in the back.They do have limited seating inside. Six tables total. Five of which have two chairs each, and one with four.The lady who took my order was friendly. I will come back if I'm in the area again and feeling like a gyro.

Food was really good. The Grecian gyro is one of the best in the area in my opinion. The tzatziki sauce is a little different than others (not better or worse, just different). The lemon rice soup was really good too—some days it 's vegetarian and other days it is with chicken. The prices are very reasonable for what you get.Edit: someone else mentioned Indiana being a no food tax state. This is not true for restaurant/ prepared food. Sales tax applies at restaurants here.

The gyro meat is sliced way too thin. The sauce isn’t true cucumber sauce. The double cheeseburger is big on meat. It doesn’t come even close to Mickey’s gyros in Tinley park. Thick slices of gyro meat and alway cuts are fresh. We didn’t even order drinks with it and it was 30$ for two fries a gyro and a double cheeseburger in a no food tax State. Fool me once.

The best gyros I had in a while. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu. Super nice service too!
