It's very convenient to have this fantastic eatery located at the Airport. The prices were also quite reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of food and service received.
I have visited the airport multiple times this year and have found that this restaurant is consistently either opening, closing, or not open at all. It is unclear what they actually sell and the staff is not friendly, especially towards older customers like myself. I often feel ignored or struggle to communicate my requests. I am unsure why this outlet is located at the airport, as it does not seem to cater well to travelers like myself.
After hearing about this restaurant from a friend, we decided to have lunch here. We had to go through airport security, but it wasn't too much of a hassle. The cashier didn't speak English very well, but she was very friendly. We ordered the Luksa dish, which was deliciously spicy - even though I'm not a fan of too much spice, I still enjoyed it. The prices were a bit higher than other places that serve Luksa ($15.50), but it is an airport restaurant after all. It's a good choice if you're not in the mood for fast food. It was amusing to have lunch while watching all the people coming and going.
Hungry before flight to Sydney we tried the green chicken curry from Bumbu in the departure lounge. Nice flavor, crunchy vegetables and freshly prepared in one of the pair of woks that are kept busy. Good alternative to the other options available.
I always try and eat here before I catch a flight, but more and more, the food gets worse, the mee goreng used to be so good, now it's just tasteless...
