Chofh's Tea Room And Takeaway - Eden

We stopped here from breakfast whilst passing through Brough. It wasn 't the most friendly welcome as we entered if you are eating inside you need to put your contact details in the book loudly spoken to us from the kitchen area. The menu was my in detail as it didn 't state what was included in a large breakfast or the small one leading to confusion in the group if toast was included. The staff were ok but could of been more welcoming throughout. The quality of the food was average as even my son didn 't like the sausages which is a first so that gives you a clue to their quality. It did a job of filling us up but not impressed and wouldn 't be visiting if passing through again as Kirkby Stephens is only 4 miles up the road and has some good cafes to choose from.

Travelling to South Shields, Chofh's made a perfect breakfast stop. Very friendly ands welcoming and a great breakfast at a good price. Nice to see a place where the locals come in and have a chat. Says it all really.

Great location parking outside and lots of tasty offerings to be enjoyed. Nothing complicated simple toasted sandwiches with garnish, all day breakfasts etc. Nice friendly staff and competitive prices definitely be back!

Came off the motorway and found this little gem! Friendly, polite staff. Reasonable prices tasty toasters and lovely cuppa hubby was not so pleased with his banana milk shake as was very warm! Needed some ice in it!
