Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe were lucky to get a last minute booking at this gorgeous bistro in the centre of Edinburgh. The team were lovely and welcoming, the food, wine and cocktails were excellent. The decor and ambience were perfect for a Friday night out! Would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!
Great drinks in the sunshine late afternoon with friendly and helpful staff so we stayed for dinner. Fab food, great atmosphere, reasonable price. Highly recommended.
We went for a walk one Saturday evening a couple of weeks ago and ended up in Masison Bleue. Asked if they could do a table for 2, no problem they said. Lovely service and excellent food. You just can't fault this wee place and we we will most definitely be back. PS, the half carafes of wine is an excellent idea.
Absolute rip off! Staters we’re deep fried frozen haggis ball and deep fried groans goats cheese balls served with a leaf of lettuce and a cherry tomato. Ordered a steak as there was very poor choice on the menu.£30 for steak frites. Steak is advertised as rib eye it was as flat as a pancake and very small. Looked like and tasted like a piece of frying steak. I asked for it medium rare however it was so flat is was impossible to cook it this way so it was cooked through without a even a hint of pink. Didn’t eat it complained to the waiter who went to check with the kitchen if there had been a mix up as they do serve different cuts of meat at lunch time. Was never given an answer but was offered a coffee on the house instead. Fries were absolutely tasteless. The wine was nice. £130 bill and left hungry..Will definitely not be returning.
Finding a family friendly restaurant that is also classy enough to celebrate a special anniversary is almost impossible to find especially with current covid restrictions. This restaurant however, has class and more! I spent a lovely Sunday afternoon out with my wife and 2 under 2 at this delightful little place. Being a restaurant manager myself, it's hard to switch off and not spot the minor details that really make or break a dinning experience, but this time I didn't have to. Everything was perfect! From the oh so friendly lovely Saskia (our waitress) who treated us to the best cocktails I've had in years, to the ever helpful and considerate Amy (manager) who was so understanding when we phoned to say we were running 15min late for our reservation. The food was so good I just had to go and thank the chef personally! The whole experience was so enjoyable even the babies were quite and happy! I can't recommend this gem of a restaurant highly enough! Will be back for sure.
