Chubby Trout - Elkhart

The front desk at our hotel recommended this restaurant among others, and we’re so glad we followed their advice. Dani was fantastic! She was attentive without being intrusive, which we really appreciated. I ordered the Chubby Trout, and my friend had the Sesame Ginger Ahi Salad. Both dishes were delicious!

The Chubby Trout Brewbarn Eatery exceeded my expectations last night! Kattie, also known as Sandy, provided exceptional service. If you're ever in the area, this place is a must-visit! They cooked my burger to a perfect medium rare, just as I requested, and it was absolutely delicious!

Yesenia, our server, was outstanding—she was friendly and professional, always greeting us with a smile! She provided clear explanations of the dishes and offered great suggestions based on our preferences. The food was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the unique flavors of the sushi dish, which had just the right amount of spice. The lime and salted edamame was a delightful surprise! I highly recommend this place and will definitely stop by on my next visit. Thank you!

This was our first time here. The food was amazing!!! Our server, Liz, did an awesome job...she was super friendly and made us feel at home. She never let our glasses get low and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. We will definitely be back again soon!

We came on a Monday night, a night when most other places are closed. We arrived around 5 and got a great booth in the corner. We tried 4 IPA style beers, none of them were for us so I had a Limoncello martini and Mike had a margarita, they were both delicious. We had the ahi tuna appetizer and it was onion and pepper heavy and would have been better served with warm sushi rice. The dynamite and red dragon rolls were both very good. The salmon nigiri was ok, it wasn’t served at room temperature, it was a little too cool to be excellent. The yellowtail however was amazing, so much so that we had another piece for dessert. They are doing some fun stuff with the interior decor and the service was good, friendly, relatively fast food delivery.
