Being a tourist the traders were all very friendly and all had unique items in their stores. Recommend a visit to this lovely place. Whilst speaking to the owner of ESP, she told us about the markets they have on Sunday morning. Definitely be going to them before we head off to Hopetoun another little gem on the south coast of WA.
This was at the Museum Village Cafe on the Sunday market day. Service was fantastic. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food came quite quickly after our order. It was very tasty. Would highly recommend.
Situated between The Esplanade and Dempster Street, the village is a delightful place to visit. While the exterior of the buildings are authentic and each being sign-posted and dated, the interiors have been modified to function as gift shops and a cafe. My personal favourite is ESP which stocks a gorgeous array of shoes, as well as bags and cards and gifts. The village is also host to a market fortnightly on a Sunday. Plenty of parking available both on and off road.
Do yourself a favour go into everyone of the shops, especially the Bookstore. I loved wandering from quaint building to older still building. From giftware to clothes, books, homewares, beautiful smelling soaps, candles oils plus beachy stuff souvenirs.
Quite nice coffee and the food I had was pretty good
