Great food and friendly staff. The restaurant looks like it could use some updates. But the food has blown us away. I had a buffalo steak and my husband enjoyed the trout. Our waiter Terry did an excellent job! We'll eat here again when we get to the Estes Park!
Good service, food, value. There for breakfast. The place is large and spacious. There was only one waitress and she seemed to be a little stressed, but when one of the children spilled a glass of milk, she was all on it. She was helpful and attentive with several tables. The decor is rustic mountain world. The portions are large and delicious. The price is comparable to all other restaurants here. About $9. There is nothing special in this place, I feel that you are not in any American city and find a dinner like this. But this place is definitely a solid 4 STARS and you will be happy. Beautiful view of mountains and a lake!. My husband and I ate here for lunch on Thursday. It was a BEAUTIFUL day with clear blue skies and a perfect view of the mountains and a lake outside the restaurant (with ducks!). My husband ordered a soup and sandwich special and I got a steak sandwich (slices of steak with sawed onions, mushrooms and paprika). My steak sandwich was just good and too big to eat like a sandwich. There was a tomato slice and salad on the side and usually when it is to be accepted to be open face and eat with a fork and knife, there is not on the side. On the other hand, my husband's Bratbeefsandwich and Clam Chowder soup was very tasty. It was also a whole sandwich, not half a sandwich. Finally, the amount of food we received for the price was very good, the view was amazing, and the taste of the food was met or miss.
Ennoted the seafood buffet. It was broad, fresh and good! Well done. Chef overlooking everything was a nice touch!
