Le Patio Cafe - Excideuil

We called in for a snack lunch and discovered that Steve does scrambled eggs smoked salmon which together with some frites and mushrooms made an excellent lunch.

Lovely lunch, three generations of the family and whilst a limited menu, what it does it does well. The home made burgers are excellent the sandwiches and omelettes, perfectly portioned The service is excellent

So after walking around the market we headed to our favourite cafe, Le Patio cafe with mum who was visiting from NZ. We said our bonjour’s as we headed through the cafe straight up to the lovely raised terrace for our lunch. The service is...always friendly and efficient. The menu caters for all so a baguette, toastie and quiche were all ordered with drinks. All the food was presented very nicely with the added bonus of a small salad to accompany the toastie and baguette and chips and salad with the quiche all very flavoursome. Steve (the owner) who does all the baking and cooking takes time out to come and greet his customers which is a nice touch during his busy schedule. We have visited Le Patio Cafe several times already during our stay in Excideuil and we love it. The place has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food and service are both excellent the owners and other staff are all brilliant. Le Patio...Cafe is also a great place to meet and chat to local people. The patio out the back is beautiful on a sunny day and the cozy area by the fire is perfect when the weather is cold. And fantastic cakes! Top marks.

The owners, Steve and Maggie, and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. They genuinely care about the customer experience, and want everyone to leave happy. The service and food quality are excellent, with a wide variety of British and American fare menu items to choose...from. The outdoor terrace is superbly well-decorated, and quiet, with ample seating. Highly recommend!
