Kamal Mahal - Fermanagh

I was curious to go to Kamal for the first time as I went vegan, as I was there all the time when I was vegetarian and really loved the food and the atmosphere. We were mainly served by a just waitress that I realized from her work there when I had visited before. I always found her very pleasant, but at this visit she was very rude from the beginning. I understand that people have bad days, but they just didn't seem to worry, never smiled or said thank you and seemed to be gum when she served us. I asked them about vegan options as there was an explanation before the menu to ask about vegan food, and I had also seen really great reviews on travel advisors. When I asked her, she just looked at me and replied, I don't know... without cream like vegetables curry or chicken curry. I don't think I could hide my disappointment, so she said she'd go to the kitchen to ask. I saw her around the restaurant and didn't even see her near the kitchen. She came back and said, "Your plant sanctuary and maybe, I don't know, Balti? I decided it would be safer to go with the herbal curry that was okay, but essentially frozen vegetables cooked in the watery curry. The rice was the best part of the meal. My sister ordered two vegetarian dishes that looked much better. The only redeeming factor of the visit was a second waitress who served us and a man at the reception, who were very pleasant. I'm so disappointed about this experience because, as I said, I always came to Kamal and it used to have a great atmosphere. I was worried we wouldn't even get a table on a Saturday night, but there was another couple when we arrived and one when we were gone. The service was quite shocking and I think if they advertise as vegan options, then this must be more than a herbal curry. However, I am not sure whether this was the fault of the kitchen or the waitress, which did not interfere in the least about the question. I really hope Kamal's improves because one day I would like to go back and have the dishes and experiences I loved earlier!

Amazing restaurant so delicious eating perfect service so friendly staff, it is my first time I enjoyed real Indian food great job youngs really enjoyed it

Great place to eat and eat great. iw was here many times and the employees and eating are always fantastic. I never had a bad meal in it. price reasonable for the standard of place food and service they receive. will be very soon and is highly recommended
