Its run by husband wife team, the husband is the chef and his wife does the waitressing and helps in the bar. Its very friendly and welcoming. The food is always made fresh on order. I love the Haggis pillows for starters, followed by Chicken haggis Pie with chips veggies and I always manage to make room for desserts. Its well worth a visit, call and book a table, give it a try.
This restaurant exceeded all expectations. It has a lively atmosphere and excellent service. Many patrons seem to have just finished playing on the Old Course. The overall ambiance is fantastic - it's more entertaining than the Jigger Inn, but still not located on the golf course. The drinks are excellent and the overall experience is truly enjoyable.
We booked the restaurant on a google search but we were very lucky to have found it. The service was first class and all of the food was delicious. We were recommended the chicken and haggis pie and it was delicious. The Chef came out to speak to us so we could thank him for the food and he shared a recipe with us. We can't recommend this place enough if you like good home-cooked food
I had another fantastic bar lunch at this restaurant! The food was great, the service was excellent, and it's definitely worth a visit. This family-run establishment has a good menu selection, with options from starters to main courses to desserts. It's one of my top choices for a bar lunch in Cowdenbeath.
I went to this restaurant for a Christmas night out with some of my volunteer friends. It was my first time there. It is a cozy local pub and we had our own private room that was nicely decorated, warm, and comfortable. While the restaurant is not upscale, the food was delicious, well-prepared, and nicely presented. There were almost 30 of us in our group and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff was friendly and efficient.
