Finding a place to eat at lunchtime could be challenging, but when we came across Granny's during a rainstorm, we decided to stop. The service was friendly and efficient, and we were entertained to learn that Peppa Pig was just as popular with Canadian children as it is in the UK. The food and drinks were fresh and delivered quickly, and the kitchen staff accommodated my wife's food intolerances with no problem. Despite some criticism about the food possibly being frozen, we found it to be tasty and perfectly fine. Overall, we had a pleasant experience at Granny's and only regretted not being able to stop in for ice cream on our way back due to a navigation issue.
I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant with a friendly staff. I have dined here multiple times in the past, but today was my first time eating inside. The service was excellent and the food was even better, featuring local fresh fish and clams.
All of the dishes tasted like they were frozen and bought from the grocery store. Definitely not as good as people make it out to be. Save your money and skip this restaurant.
The Crawford’s have enjoyed Granny’s ice cream and food for many many many years. Staff is very friendly and the food is scrumptious. They are a staple of the community. Thank you for being part of our memories every summer!!!
We stopped here while out for a drive. The ham and cheese sandwich was made with cheese slices, and the fries tasted like the ones from Costco.
