We had made a reservation for a birthday celebration and had it confirmed twice, only to arrive at the restaurant to find it closed and empty. It was extremely disappointing that we were not contacted beforehand. This lack of communication is completely unacceptable.
I arrived for my reservation only to be informed that they were closed for a private event.
This was our first visit to the restaurant. It was our anniversary and we were expecting a special evening out. The hostess was friendly, and so was our waitress, although the waitress appeared unkempt. We ordered the Spinach artichoke dip, which turned out to be more like soup with minimal artichoke and Spinach. The bread served with it was toasted to almost burnt, but when she brought more bread later, it was lightly toasted and delicious. I ordered the alfredo, but the noodles were overcooked. My husband ordered a Cajun alfredo that was overly greasy and lacked spice. The atmosphere seemed to have been upscale at one point, but now it is in need of a good dusting. The booth we were seated in had peeling upholstery on the backs.
Definitely a major change in the last several years. Food was overpriced for the quality. No impressed and won’t return
Site in old strip mall which has seen better days. Beautiful decor of dark wood, with 10-foot wine racks up front behind glass. Louder than usual piped-in smooth jazz. Varied menu of meat and salad entrees. I had delicious maple-glazed salmon with mushrooms. Wife had parmesan-encrusted whitefish which she said was too fishy. My asparagus was sour. Side salads were unremarkable. Server touted full bar but then was unfamiliar with well-known martinis (French 75, Bee’s Knees), $9 but $2 off for happy hour (on a Saturday). Small selection of craft beers on tap. Most strangely, server did not offer dessert and when we asked about it, we were told they only offer one. When we asked if it was good, she said “no complaints.” Thirty minutes later, two underwhelming pieces of pound cake drizzled in chocolate and covered in some raspberries arrived.
